Press and appearances
Where the work has appeared
Dr. Shawna M. Gann is a business psychologist, organizational consultant, and executive coach. Her work on identity, civility, and belonging at work has appeared in national media, on conference stages, and in one museum in Austria.
A selection of conversations and appearances is below.
Exhibit feature
Code of Courage. Diversity begins with me.
It started with a class. Dr. Gann spoke with students at HTL Mössingerstraße in Klagenfurt, Austria, after they listened to episodes of her podcast. Months later, those students built an exhibition at the kärnten.museum, and her conversation became one of its panels.
The students did all of it. They researched, ran the interviews, recorded an audio series, designed the panels, and helped mount the show. Visitors scan a QR code and hear the interviews on their phones. Dr. Gann's panel stands in the museum's main hall, in German and in English.
Every person has a story. Perhaps it is even more than that. Every person is a story.
